My high school history teacher used to have an expression, and to rephrase the jist of it with another set of words:

There are catholics, and then there are Catholics.

That might not make much sense if you are reading that to someone audibly, unless you explain that one of the catholics is capitalized, while the other one is not capitalized.

Case in point: the pinhead and not patriot, smug "conservative" commentator Bill O'Reilly, on FOX cable TV.

Now I realize that none of us is perfect in everything we say (which is why I frequently re-edit my internet-residing webpages as I go along to correct mistakes and make either additions or subtractions):

James 3:2 For we all make many mistakes, and if any one makes no mistakes in what he says he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.

But, sometimes, what we definitively and dogmatically utter or pen or type indicates a basic and even crucial lifeview perspective as to where we stand - not merely on doctrinal and theological issues related to Heaven or Hell all-or-nothing destinations, but even on our actual relationship (or lack of it) towards God, in relation to His Word of God.

The other night I heard Bill O'Reilly chastise someone who had criticized him for saying that a "fetus" (a vaguely or possibly subhuman term) in the womb of a woman is a potential human instead of a human with potential.

Objectionable it was that O'Reilly relegated the critics term to the equivalent of it only being the critic's "opinion" but not "fact" - being that the critic who made the criticizing proclamation against O'Reilly was not a United States Supreme Court judge (the basis of O'Reilly's defense against the critic) and thus the critic's statement (to O'Reilly) was of a sub-factual "religious" opinion and not "fact."

Now, where have we heard THAT before?

John 19:15 They cried out, "Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar."

Strange it indeed is that Bill O'Reilly himself admitted that back in the early days of our country abortion was considered criminal activity. So Who changed that, and upon what Basis was it changed (capitalizations added for sarcasm)? So, along with Dennis Prager (who I heard, with my own ears, state that he "does not believe in Jesus Christ"), it is obvious that Mr. Bill O'Reilly is destined for what Johnny Carson might have termed: "the Calcutta Crapper."

But, have not such men done so much "good" in their overall track record? Are they not being "realistic" as to what (in reality) law enforcement officers, judges, courts, and prisons regard as "criminal" which can and should be arrested, convicted, fined, incarcerated, and even executed?

Matthew 7:22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and do many mighty works in Your name?'
Matthew 7:23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you evildoers.'

Now, (and on to the topic subject), how many times have you heard particularly younger people state that this or that is "awesome" -- when clearly whatever they state being "awesome" is actually not "awesome" whatsoever?

So now we have another word being misused and becoming part of the deviant vocabulary of satanspeak...along with "gay" instead of effeminately homosexual, "choice" and "health" and "reproductive freedom" instead of abortion murder, "performing" instead of committing abortion homicide, "dignity" and "human rights" instead of the shame of homosodomy, "non-reasonable/prejudiced/biased bashing and hatred" against impenitent homoqueers instead of righteous, linguistically-expressed, normal/natural-heterosexuality-only, indignation on Biblical grounds, "sexy" fashions instead of immodest styles, "equal rights" and "equal opportunity" and "sexism" instead of arrogant and insubordinate, divisively-competitive-against-men, non-domestically anti-patriarchal feminist sexism, "art" instead of porno-obscene licentuousness, "origins science" instead of anti-young-Earth-creationist evolutionist-mythology heresy, "hell" for devastating destruction during temporary war or intensely-painful persecution this side of eternity, and so on.

Agreeing to meet someone for an appointment is NOT "awesome." Agreeing to make an everyday common and routine business transaction dealing with a trifle item or situation is NOT "awesome."

What rather would be TRULY awesome would be such things as viewing a meteor bombard and incinerate New York city, seeing an atomic bomb explode a few miles away, gaping with shock while observing the Red Sea collapse on the entire Egyptian Army, watching Christ re-appear out of the sky at His Second Coming, and even a few other somewhat somewhat-less spectacular, colossal, and extemely unusual events suddenly transpiring.

The intent of this webpage author is to rectify such semantical foolishness:

Zephaniah 3:9 Yes, at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve Him with one accord.

So, Mr. O'Reilly continues on in his reactive pompously-pious self-assertiveness with his typically-flippant air of pseudo self-correctness (almost as noxious as slanderous-innuendos-ranting Rachel Maddow of MSNBC and terror-and-hatefilled-demon-eyes, secretively-force-it-down-our-throats, witch-like "Jezebel/Athaliah" Pelosi)......not understanding that the founding "fathers" (?!) of America based their "legal" and "government" premises, statutes, and decisions on supernaturally-sourced (though written-and-conveyed-by-human-authors) Holy Writ -- which Holy Bible they regarded not as changeable postulations of fickle human beings depending not upon who has the biggest gun making the biggest bang, nor on who at the time bellers out the loudest.....but rather having Divine origin from THE Changeless Chief Authority called: the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

First Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also we thank God without ceasing: because when you all received the Word of God, which you all heard from us, you all received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which also works effectually in you who believe.

Second Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in former times by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

And that is the problem not merely with cultic catholics and others of their different-world-religions superstitious ilk -- who live by the fear of mankind rather than the fear of God, and who [errantly] regard the variations and concoctions of sometimes blatantly-contradictory human traditions and regulations as The Ultimate Standard for how persons should live their lives, what is permanently or adjustably "legal" contrasted with what is not, what is "criminal" compared to what is not, and what words they should use to qualify all sorts of events, objects, actions, thought, ideas, and entities.

John 5:34 Not that the testimony which I receive is from man; but I say this that you may be saved.

First Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
First Corinthians 2:5 that your faith should not stand on the wisdom of man, but on the power of God.
First Corinthians 2:6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, who are coming to nought.
First Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world for our glory
First Corinthians 2:8 wisdom which none of the princes of this world knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.
First Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."
First Corinthians 2:10 But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
First Corinthians 2:11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no man knows the things of God, but the Spirit of God.
First Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.
First Corinthians 2:13 These things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
First Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
First Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no man.
First Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

Galatians 1:12 For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

Admittedly, if something is illegitimate or evil (such as warm-weather public semi-immodesty, related porn, evolution, abortion, atheism, feminist sexism, homogay perversion, antisemitism, etc.) according to the Lord's definition of what He (by His Holy Bible) determines is bonafide incorrect "politically" and otherwise -- such is ALREADY illegitimate, illegal, wrong, errant, evil, and wicked from the very start...even though the full ramifications, consequences, and eventually-complete public admission with punishment applied relating to that has not yet reached full agreement, culmination, nor implementation.

Not that all traditions are wrong or bad:

First Corinthians 11:2 I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I have delivered them to you.
First Thessalonians 4:9 But regarding love of the brethren you have no need to have any one write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another;
Second Thessalonians 2:15 So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter.
Second Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is living in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.

Yet, living by humanly-incepted traditions is simply NOT inadequate, but is instead diabolically demonic and devilish:

Matthew 15:2 "Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat."
Matthew 15:3 He answered them, "And why do you transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?
Matthew 15:6 So, for the sake of your tradition, you have made void the word of God.

Mark 7:3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, do not eat unless they wash their hands, observing the tradition of the elders;
Mark 7:5 And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, "Why do your disciples not live according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with hands defiled?"
Mark 7:8 You leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men."
Mark 7:9 And He said unto them, "Full well you all reject the commandment of God, that you all may keep your own tradition.
Mark 7:13 thus making void the word of God through your tradition which you hand on. And many such things you do."

Galatians 1:14 and I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely zealous was I for the traditions of my fathers.

Philippians 3:4 Though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If any other man thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more:
Philippians 3:5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin (a veritable blood-descendant of Jacob!), a Hebrew born of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee,
Philippians 3:6 as to zeal, a persecutor against the church (whoopie), as to righteousness under the law, blameless (oh sure).

Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ.

Why not simply let "the" "knowledge and intentions" of god's so-called words and will ooze down from who-knows-where with spooky hocus-pocus psychic emanations masquerading humanly-conceived-and-contrived fanciful imagination based on occultic-like hallucinations?

Why a canonical, Spirit-Preserved/Divine-Copyright-Protected-by-Lethal-Enforcement written Bible instead?

We genuine Christians do NOT live anymore by debatable-heresay word-of-mouth traditions (that is, whatever is presumed to be traditional sayings) of Saint Paul (being that he is long dead and does not verbally speak any traditions nor anything else anymore), nor those purporting to be apostolically-successive, blattering out allegedly-infallible further, additional, now-weirdly-interpreted, novel encyclicals of Paul, Peter, or whoever else.

Deuteronomy 27:8 And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly."

Isaiah 30:8 And now, go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness for ever.

Jeremiah 36:2 "Take a scroll and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and Judah and all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah until today."
Jeremiah 36:28 "Take another scroll and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned."

Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me: "Write the vision; make it plain upon tablets, so he may run who reads it."

Luke 1:3 it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,

John 19:21 The chief priests of the Jews then said to Pilate, "Do not write, 'The King of the Jews,' but, 'This man said, I am King of the Jews.'"
John 19:22 Pilate answered, "What I have written I have written."

Acts 15:20 but should write to them to abstain from the pollutions of idols and from unchastity and from what is strangled and from blood.

First Corinthians 4:14 I do not write this to make you ashamed, but to admonish you as my beloved children.
First Corinthians 16:21 I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand.

Second Corinthians 1:13 For we write you nothing but what you can read and understand; I hope you will understand fully,
Second Corinthians 4:2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the Word of God, but by the revelation of the truth commending, ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Second Corinthians 5:12 For we do not commend ourselves again to you (listen up, O'Reilly, with whom The Spin supposedly stops), but are giving you occasion to glory on our behalf, so that you may have it to answer those boasting in appearance, and not in heart.

Galatians 1:11 And, brothers, I make known to you the gospel which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.

Philippians 3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is not irksome to me, and is safe for you.

Second Thessalonians 3:17 I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. This is the mark in every letter of mine; it is the way I write.

Philemon 1:19 I, Paul, write this with my own hand, I will repay it--to say nothing of your owing me even your own self.
Philemon 1:21 Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.

First John 2:13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, children, because you know the Father.
First John 2:14 I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
First John 2:21 I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and know that no lie is of the truth.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, being very eager to write to you of our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done (and some yet presume that merely professing "a personal relationship with Jesus Christ" or claiming "Jesus is my Savior and Lord" was and is all that is necessary).

In the New Covenant, the actual Redeemer differentiated between ceremonial suggestions of the Old Covenant and the still-applicable-and-required moral commandments of the New.

Regarding (and not concerning) such, Jesus warns us present-day progenie of the various Roman and Greek churches who He through Paul and Peter and John communicated to:

Luke 6:46 "And why do you all call Me, `Lord, Lord,' and do not the things which I say?
