First of all, I (as a bonafide Christian) am rather irritated when in stores and restaurants near Christmas holidays I hear vocal lyrics of commercial-purchases-enticement Christmas carols interspersed with vocal lyrics of musically-memorable fairy-tale and even occultic songs also sung. The reason for that is not that I hate to hear Christmas carols, but so intimately integrating them on and off with the imposition of "Frosty the Snowgal" (or is it instead a sexist: "Snowperson") or Snowthing, Rudolf the Beacon-Buck Red-Nosed Reindeer, the anonymous poor little boy with the rum-a-dum-dum drum marching along like a little tin soldier competing for attention and admiration against the adult-Wise-Men-worshippers AND Christ-child Himself.
To indiscriminately combine childish secular fairy-tale-myth or Hannukka-oil-superstition songs with Christian Christmas carols makes a silly mockery of all of it, and insinuates with jestful brainlessness that the whole thing is a bunch of cutesy-but-pithy false-legend fairy tales.
Worst of all are pseudo-prophets commanding snowfall with an even-perhaps-blasphemous mindless mantra of "LET it snow, LET is snow, LET it snow" -- as if they could either stop or start that Act of God themselves...or are they are actually humbly petitioning Him Elijah-like? (I seriously doubt it!).
A mere non-certain prophecy of "It'll snow, it'll snow, it'll snow" would be much preferable.
