Pumpkin Pie and I just reached another Hallowed E'en (i.e. All-Saints/Reformation) Day milestone, and we discovered after the November 2nd National Election that the House had both thankfully and significantly gone Republican red under Boehner (pronounced: BAY-nur).

The very first house or building ever constructed in all human history (according to the Sacred-66-books Holy-Bible record) was Noah's Ark. I guess people before the Worldwide Flood lived in tents and caves, and afterwards Sumerians, Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Chinese, Aztecs, and others built the Tower of Babel, pyramids, and so forth.

It was sad that anti-Christian-broadcasting Schumer and Durbin, pro-feminist-Sotomayor/Kagan Leahy, mortgage manipulator homofag Barney Frank, sneaky and close-minded Reid and money-issues-only Melendez, Steny plus military-general-defamer and anti-patriarchy Boxer got re-elected or are still in. Also pro-NY-mosque-muslim Keith Ellison was not replaced by the Christian Joel Demos in Minnesota. The saints grieve that Angle and Fiorini were overridden by foolish voters. And why is it that in close recounts the demoncrats seem to invaribly win?

Medicare-coverage-from-birth-to-death-bill Grayson and Minnesota's Oberstar are out, while Jerry Brown got voted in over his inferior-gender opponent. One bright spot is that Pelosi missed her anti-Bachmann target by a mile, and is destined to hit the road.

It reminds me of the verses:

Barack Hussein Obama (a term smurkface-lesbogoof Rachel Maddow ridicules), along with Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, Charles Schumer, and other demoncrats have a new satanspeak phrase, now that they have been forced to associate and more intimately communicate with a House full of newly-elected Republicans. They proclaim that: "We have to work with Republicans to get things done." What they actually mean is: "We have to work on Republicans to make sure that they do not screw up the oppressive socialistic legislation (like pre-exiting-conditions-mandating forced-insurance-purchase Obamascare, environmental Cap-and-Trade green tax on everything conceivable run by electricity and fossil fuels, and so on) which we have already tyrannously imposed."

Actually, demoncrat senators have absolutely NO intention whatsoever of repealing Obamascare, Cap and Trade, Stimulus Debt, and worse....but will merely function as non-cooperative obstructionists against what many Americans want the GOP to neutralize or even eradicate before everyone is financially dragged down into bankruptcy and the country is completely ruined with runaway inflation, even more unemployment, Social-Security/Medicare cutbacks and rationing, pro-abortion-homicide and homoqueer defilement, plus economic collapse.

We hope that Obama's frustration does not result in him sneaking in closed-to-the-public secret international-treaty overrides against American sovereignty, nor that Obama will commit a military-and-commerce-regulating variation of Hitler's right-wing-facist Nazi Party (who burned the Reichstag then blamed the left-wing Communist Party for it, after which der Fuehrer imposed and enforced marshall law and cranked up concentration-camp incarceration against dissidents). Barack's many presidentially-appointed czars would first have to strangle the religious right (and not wrong) with permits, fines, zoning restrictions, etc. up the ying-yang:

Pseudo-"progressive" (but rather subversively-digressive) talkshow hosts like Thom Hartmann and his cronies want the IRS to audit corporations which paid for media ads against demoncrat candidates but supporting republican replacements. In truth, the IRS should instead audit Hartmann and his co-conspirators.

How absurd and despicable for Hartmann to condemn the backbone of American economy, then accuse Obama and Reid of wimping out. Hartmann himself, on his afternoon radio show, admitted that company-based 401K monies only initially go to those pro-republican or pro-democrat companies, but the lion's share rest of it to pension funds. So why does Hartmann et al want to fine merely the corporations and not the pension funds over oversee retirement funding? Why does Hartmann want to punish pro-democrat or pro-republican corporations, which provide jobs for the masses of hardworking employees who do not want to be defiled by forced-Obamascare-insurance purchase, homoqueer workplace harassment, nor be chided to become extinct on demand of abortion-homicide-murder lobbyists. Corporate leaders and their employees both know what is most productive for them, so it is no wonder that both recently voted in a red Republican House of Representatives. Hartmann and his trouble-inciting ilk are the types who would complain even if God gave them a nice cloudless day to sunburn their accursed carcasses with.

On Election night, this webtract author, for All Souls' Remembrace, attended a stirring and professional performance of Mozart's Requiem, but within a large catholic cathedral in the city of Saint Paul. I stayed for the entirety -- despise the imposition of stinky incense (which the wife cannot stand and therefore refused to re-encounter), the priest proclaiming the heresy of purgatory, blasphemously calling his reading from the pseudo-scriptural book of "Wisdom" (part of the fake-bible-books Apocrypha such as Ecclesiasticus, Sirach, Maccabees) "THE word of the Lord," and praying to the Virgin Mary and calling the pope: "THE Holy Father" (a term I reserve for both Christ Almighty and His Heavenly Father in Heaven). Also, them feeding the audience only Latin-foreign-language-blessed? "eucharistic"/(communion?) wafers without grape drink was a lamentable omission.

Be that as it was (not may be), I respectfully endured staying through the entire ceremony of robes-attired priests bowing to each other, and moving around in supposedly-meaningful-to-whoevers, probably-well-rehearsed, quiet choreography near the altar.

I was thinking afterward about the abhorrent and obnoxious myth of purgatory, then came up with some Scriptural passages which could be misconstrued to imply the existence of that alleged state of temporary punishment after death for saints-to-be? destined to finally be purified enough to be released into either Paradise or the New Jerusalem at the Last Judgement.

Psalm 139:7 Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, You are there! If I make my bed in Sheol [and that merely means the abode of the dead, and does NOT infer Hades NOR Hell!], You are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning and reside in the farthest parts of the sea,
10 even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, "Let only darkness cover me, and the light about me be night,"
12 even the darkness is not dark to You, the night is bright as the day; for darkness is as light with You.

Eph 4:8 Therefore it is said, "When He ascended on high He led a host of captives (which captives were not described as nor even slightly inferred as having been burning in torment of either mythical "purgatory" nor Hades!), and He gave gifts to men."

First Peter 3:18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the righteous for the non-righteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit;
19 in which He went and preached to the spirits in prison [of Sheol - and NOT tormenting "purgatory" nor Hades],
20 who formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were saved through water.
21 Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a clear conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.

That came from the presumed first catholic pope Peter, who according to the Bible never even traveled to nor visited Rome to supposedly become the allegedly-never-married-celibate Bishop-of-Rome pontiff:

Lev 21:7 [Pontiffs] shall not marry a harlot or a woman who has been defiled; neither shall they marry a woman divorced from her husband; for the priest is holy to his God.
Lev 21:14 A widow, or one divorced, or a woman who has been defiled, or a harlot, these he shall not marry; but he shall take to wife a virgin of his own people.

First Corinthians 9:5 Do we not have the right to be accompanied by a wife, as the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas? [Cephas, also nicknamed "Peter" or "Simon Peter" or "Saint Peter," was a non-celibate married man with a mother-in-law who had been sick with a fever, rather than celibate homosexual molesting altar boys].

Mark 1:30 Now Simon's mother-in-law lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told Him of her.
Luke 4:38 And He arose and left the synagogue, and entered Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they besought Him for her.

Who knows if the penitent thief on a cross next to Jesus on His cross had been baptized and ingested the DNA flesh and DNA blood of Jesus so as to be "saved." If not, it is puzzling why Jesus did not say:

"Today you will be with Me in Purgatory, you Special Exemption, where you will have to burn for a while because of all you stole," instead of what Christ actually did say, which is:

Luke 23:43 And He said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

Purgatory does NOT equal Paradise, just as three does not equal four but instead equals three (or at least one plus one plus one, like the Father/Son/Spirit trinitarian construction of an egg with shell and white and yolk or the trinitarian composition of ice and water and steam).

If there ever was a case for a clearly penitent former thief being a prime candidate for being-punished-a-while-after-death-before-release purgatory, it was the dying thief on a cross:

Luke 23:42 (JPS and KJV, not ASV nor RSV which leave out the word: 'Lord') And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom [but not queendom, for the sake of those leaning toward feminist-sexist chauvenism].

Another remarkable case for an apparently-penitent person supposedly having to humanistically burn for a little while in Purgatory before being whisked away into Heaven (cowardly-pre-trib-rapture style) would be the following:

Luke 16:22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried;
23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he called out, 'Father Abraham, have mercy upon me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.'
25 But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.'
27 And he said, 'Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father's house,
28 for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.'
29 But Abraham said, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.'
30 And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if some one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.'

The "great chasm" mentioned in verse 26 above does NOT infer geographical transport nor transfer possibilities, nor a state of parole and pardon after time served, in contrast to life imprisonment.

The Last Judgment is NOT like political elections like in an American democracy, where the winning 51% or more majority can impose their rule and laws over the losing 49% or less defeated in an election, until there is another election in two or four years.

At the Matthew-chapter-25/Revelation-chapter 20-described Great White Throne separation of [good-people] "sheep" from [evil-people] "goats" (as euphemistically referred to), it will be all or nothing for everyone - permanently.....to bizarre extremes! More said about that below.

Don't expect "Jesus"-Seminar pseudo-experts, scholasticized and accredited in fool apostasy [with tax-exempt foundations funding], to understand or at least accept any of this.

But, did the regretful penitent rich man in fiery torment get out for his supposedly-penitent "purgatorial" request to have previously-disregard Lazarus now cool the burning tongue without requesting jailbreak out of Hades? The answer is as Jesus stated, and is true for all who exhibit the seemingly-penitent remorse of a no-purgatory-available Judas Iscariot, of whom Jesus stated:

Matt 26:24 The Son of man [His Son-of-man human nature coming from Mary, but His Son-of-God divine nature coming from the Holy Spirit who was not birthed by sinful-nature/"God-my-Savior"-professing Mary and thus not THE Mother of God in the sense of birthing nor conceiving the Almighty Trinitarian Godhead at non-aborted conception] goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born."
Mark 14:21 For the Son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born."

John 17:12 While I was with them, I kept them in Your name, which You have given Me; I have guarded them, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition [Judas Iscariot], that the scripture might be fulfilled.

The heresy of purgatory allows arrogantly-self-atoning-by-eucharistic-ingestion cultic co-redemptor catholics to both not completely repent relating to giving up addicted-to vices they idolatrously cherish....and discredit the power of the One and Only non-human Mediator (Christ Jesus THE Redeemer, and not any catholic priest nor Mary) to completely cancel the full penalty of sins for the vilest and most frequent of sinners.

So, do you or I like the way the Creator set up things: giving His human creatures choice to either obey or disobey Him in response to the stumbling blocks of The Tempter and Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil He imposed in the Garden of Eden, then allowing it to happen, then expecting them to regret and confess and plead for mercy?

Do you or I like His plan of us using free will He [dangerously] burdened? us with to eventually disobey His command to not eat of The Tree (worse than eating Christ's spiritual Bread-of-Life body and drinking His Living-Water spiritual blood)? Why not create us idiot-proof and fail-safe instead?

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst [for distilled or artesian spring water?].
John 6:48 I am the bread of life.

Yum. I like my bread either rye or whole wheat, but I will also chow on pumpernickel. In addition, I will gladly eat Christ's body as long as He calls it bread and not private-body-part human skin and muscle tissue....especially freshly-baked "bread."

John 4:7 There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink."
10 Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
11 The woman said to Him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep; where do you get that living water?
13 Jesus said to her, "Every one who drinks of this water will thirst again,
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst; the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

Jesus was not referring to His liquid semen either into her mouth or vagina in that passage, nor was He referring to potentially-intoxicating wine at The Last Supper, as indicated by:

Matt 26:29 I tell you I shall not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom."
Mark 14:25 Truly, I say to you, I shall not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."
Luke 22:18 for I tell you that from now on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."

Just so we don't drink any bone-china or porcelin drinking cups themselves, and choke on the sharp shards:

1Cor 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup [the cup itself, literally, without reference to whatever fluid is or is not inside the cup], you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

I can see drinking Christ's euphemistic "blood" as long as it is Mogen David, Manischewitz, or another red or white wine. Also, I like non-lite beers, chardonnay, and even burgundy, but not port. Sherry is OK, as is champagne, although both brandy and vodka, like whiskey, burn on the way down when swallowed.

Not that Christ could not provide bloody wine to possibly get drunk on and staggar, as He did at Cana at the marriage feast. But "providing" cigarettes, slots, plus pot and meth or even porn mags or vids would probably not be His preference, although He has and does allow acquisition and utilization of all such for obsessed goofs to abuse themselves with who crave the stuff.

Keep in mind that contraband itself is never harmed nor abused, but rather is misused by people, upon which people the blame should be placed. Guns don't kill guns, nor guns by themselves take themselves legs ("Where did it go" instead of: "Where did I mis-place it?") to kill people, but people use guns to kill people.

If you or I do NOT like what God the Creator has made, keep in mind that He will inevitably burn the dislikers in the solitary-confinement Outer Darkness Lake of Fire forever, in which the damned will forever be incapable of thanking or praising God, as the elect will forever be incapable of cursing God in Heaven while they are permanently there. Both will get what they really want deep down: the cursed will be satisfied (while weeping and gnashing teeth for being so deliberately stupid), to eternally curse God (as they now relish in cursing Jerry Falwell, George Bush, others of the religious right and not wrong, plus complain about nasty weather) when completely separated from Him and everything good He has created.....while the blessed will be in bliss and glory, singing for joy with eternal praise to God when forever with Him, who will provide them with all preserved non-polluted wonders along with awesome special surprises He has created exclusively for them alone.

God aims to please, both ways.

Which gets us not simply to His terrifying omnipotent authority, but His phenomenal benevolence.

It has been said that (and although God is not to blame for it), the LORD hardens the heart of those who first harden their own heart, and brings strong delusion upon those who first bring a strong delusion upon themselves by their disobedience and rebellious faithlessness:

Ex 8:15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and would not listen to them; as the LORD had said.
Ex 8:32 But Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also, and did not let the people go.
Ex 9:34 But when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunder had ceased, he sinned yet again, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.

Prov 29:1 He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck will suddenly be broken beyond healing.

Rom 9:20 But who are you, a man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me thus?
Rom 11:32 For God has consigned all men to disobedience, that He may have mercy upon all.

Second Thessalonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders,
10 and with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
11 Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false,
12 so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Would you like a God who, after consigning all to disobedience by His "gift" of freewill to self-corrupting humans, along with His Garden-of-Eden-imposed stumbling blocks, did NOT have "mercy upon all" but instead punished them all without recourse nor appeal to eternal-hellfire damnation? Would you like a God who, after forcing all humans to be robotically obedient, did NOT have "mercy upon all" but instead punished them all for no cause except demented sadism to eternal-hellfire damnation?

Consider the wonderful outcome of those who accomodate the best to what God has created and maintains. NASA entirely trusts the predictability of God's celestial-body gravities and rocket-propulsion propellants to achieve a Moon and Mars landing. Tightrope walkers and skydivers trust the consistency of the wire cables and parachutes supporting them. All sorts of people do all sorts of marvelous things by obediently and consistently accomodating in childlike (and sometimes automatic or non-acknowledged) faith in all sorts of ways to all sorts of things the consistent and benevolent Creator has created and sustains.

And who is that never-once-has-ever-made-a-mistake Creator, and why did He in essence want people to beg Him to help them, and command people to consider and call Him 'Lord,' then perpetually obey Him as such to please Him?

Prov 30:4 Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name? Surely you know!

Col 1:11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy,
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together [at the present time now in 2010 A.D. and not C.E.].

19 For in Him [not in Mohammed nor Joseph Smith nor Buddha] all the fulness of God was pleased to reside,

So, are you for God, or instead against Him? And which am I? Which have we been from birth and throughout our toddler and tween and teen years, whether or not we have responded in later life to an Altar Call or Confirmation? Our answer will be stated by the time our earthly pilgrimage is over, and not in some make-believe "purgatory," because:

Eccl 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.
Heb 12:17 For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears.
