Consider how many Hollywood actors have played the part of clergymen in movies. And how many actors have played the part of policemen and CIA agents.

In August of 2009, many so-called "pastor" and "reverend" "clergy" along with "lay" people "church" leaders of the ELCA (a denomination of self-professing "lutherans") came together in a "churchwide assembly" to decide (with at least a simple majority vote) to allow homogay (i.e. [openly] effeminate and sodomite, both oriented and practicing) individuals to function and continue to function as ordained "pastors" and "reverend" "clergy."

This year of 2010 in July, the PCUSA (a denomination of self-professing "presbyterians") did, for all intents and purposes, the same [along with condemning Israeli settlements in God-given Middle-East Jewish territory].

Apparently both the united methodist church (UMC) and episcopal church (ECUSA) have female pope-equivalents in authority over all their "churches."

In previous assemblies and conventions, many of the mainline "protestant" denominations have "ordained" women to exercise congregational leadership as "reverend" "pastors, "bishops" and "deacons" "clergy."

In many generally-negroid pentacostal churches, it seems that half the congregation declares themselves "clergy" with all sorts of fancy ecclesiastical-robe costumes - as is common among episcopalians, anglicans, catholics, lutherans, methodists, presbyterians, etc.

That brings to mind nihggaer racists like "the" "reverend" "doctor" "martin luther" King. The "reverend" Jesse Jackson. The "reverend" Al Sharpton. The "reverend" honkey Barry Lynn. And on and on, all preaching strange gospels - to each of whom a mere salutation of "Mister" would amply suffice.

Matthew 23:2 The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat;
3 so practice and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practice.
4 They bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger.

Recently (from the time of this writing) I was going through a woman's-press publication nestled among the homosexuality-promoting "Lavender" and "City Pages" tabloids, and discovered that the feminist organizations and groups listed therein were networked with the "united church of canada" based in Ontario, which had connections with pro-homogay "interfaith" religious groups led by former episcopal "priests" located in the San Francisco Bay area.

Which got me thinking: WHO really is a bonafide, genuine, authentic, and orthodox "pastor" or "reverend" or "bishop" or "deacon" "clergy?" Are homogay/homosexual persons (merely oriented, or instead practicing active ones) such? How about women?

What does it mean to be "ordained" as "clergy?" What does the Holy Spirit and/or bonafide Body of Christ say about that? How does the secular State (Government) determine who is "ordained" "clergy" in contrast to who is not such?

Who is qualified to ordain, and be ordained, boils down to if both embrace the best of the "Standard" Versions (e.g. RSV, ESV, NASV) of the Old Testament, plus the non-NIV/TEV/etc. "KJ" Versions (KJV, KJ21, NKJV, Wesley) of the New Testament of the Sacred-66-books Holy Bible.

As with Billy Graham launching his worldwide evangelistic crusade ministry, Jerry Falwell launching his Moral Majority, and others....apart from the auspices of a 501(c)(3) IRS tax-exempt church corporation....Saint Paul gave his Independent-Study credentials, much like this webauthor boasts an honorary Doctor of Sacred Theology degree with an additional Ph.D equivalent in Biblical sexual ethics (even though "a prophet is not without honor except among his own people"):

Galatians 1:1 Paul an apostle - not from men nor through man - but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead

Let's "cut right to the chase."

Women because of their gender and in exact accord with the Holy Bible, cannot be either bishops nor deacons (and thus not archbishops), because of the rather obvious parameters found in:

Leviticus 21:10 "The priest who is chief among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and who has been consecrated to wear the garments, shall not let the hair of his head hang loose, nor rend his clothes;
Leviticus 21:14 A widow, or one divorced, or a woman who has been defiled, or a harlot, these he shall not marry; but he shall take to wife a virgin of his own people

First Timothy 3:2 Now a bishop must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, dignified, hospitable, an apt teacher,

First Timothy 3:12 Let deacons be the husband of one wife, and let them manage their children and their households well

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out which gender is typical of a husband, in comparison to which gender is typical of a wife....in spite of transsexuals who vainly attempt to blur the innate and at-birth DNA and genitalia distinctions.

Can women consider themselves "pastors" or "reverends" ("ordained" or "lay ministers") and wear white-collared costumes and robes portraying them as "clergy" - even though by Scriptural definition they cannot be termed either bishops or deacons? I suppose they could and can, but such would have Scriptural authority over only children and other women, according to obvious Scriptural discriminatory distinction:

Again, if anyone dishonestly and deceitfully tells you that "That was only for back then for those inside the church," remind the hellboud lying fool that the ancestry of all humanity reaching back to Adam and Eve goes way beyond the relatively-recent confines of "the church" - whatever that is.

Now, along with feminist-sexist "pastors" lording it over men, as to homogay "pastors" and "reverends" and "bishop" and "deacon" "clergy."

Matthew 7:15 Beware of [pro-feminist/pro-homogay] false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing [with clerical collars] but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

II Corinthians 11:13 For such men (and women!) are false apostles, deceitful work[men], disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an [rainbow-colored] angel of light.

Romans 2:29 He is a Jew who is one inwardly, anb real circumcision is a matter of the heart, spiritual and not literal. His praise is not from men but from God.

Revelation 3:9 Hey, I will make those [feminist/homogay pseudo-clergy] of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie - hey, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and learn that I have loved you.

We all are guilty of committing and not "performing" some sins under non-solicited duress of one kind or another. For the genuine Christian, the sins are not premeditated, nor deliberate, nor relentlessly perpetual choices done with a honestly free non-seared conscience. But there are certain sins worse than others, and certainly some to be understandably acknowledged which disqualify a person from being a acceptable and righteous leader of The Body of Christ in part or in whole:

Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural,
27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty [like the cancer of AIDS] for their error.

First Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the non-righteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate [Gr. malakoi], nor sodomites [Gr. arsenokoitai],
10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

The operative word there is: "were" and not "are!" To proudly and arrogantly fall into homogay perversion (be that orientational desire or active and practicing misbehaviors) over and over and over with no regret nor remorse nor repentance should clearly cause not welcoming such with open arms, but instead prompt defrocking and dismissal and complete disassociation:

4 For admission has been secretly gained by some [homogays and feminist sexist] who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly persons who pervert the grace of our God into [same-gender-sodomy] licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

It is quite clear that the intent is not compromise, tolerance, and unity, but instead:

Matthew 10:34 Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
36 and a man's enemies will be those of his own household.
37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me

Now, as to "ordination."

More often than not, when the worldly and worldly-minded purport that a "clergyperson" is "ordained," they are inferring that such a person is "ordained" as to secular government designation, so as to certify civil-government "marriages" and "burials." That includes attending and graduating from a "seminary" which has an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status pertaining to tax-free property, and qualifies as a "seminary" because of registration of such name with the State licensing bureau involving the exchange of Federal Reserve Note currency of the Government and regulated by its Department of Education as to State-appropriate curriculum, books, and licensed professors with State teaching credentials.

Graduation according to State rules takes into consideration the religious custom of "the laying on of hands" to commission State-certified "ordained" "clergy." Obviously, because of Equal Rights and Human Rights statutes, women and homoseuxals are as qualified as men to become "clergy" in the estimation of the secular government, particularly when IRS-controlled employment and transfer of government currency income is involved.

It is interesting that Jesus Himself (not "herself") never considered himself "ordained" by secular Roman government nor a competitive-clergy "king" (not "queen") with military intentions against the Roman Empire, but was given that title by others mostly of secular immentality:

Mark 15:2 And Pilate asked Him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" And He answered Him, "You have said so."
9 And he answered them, "Do you want me to release for you the King of the Jews?"
12 And Pilate again said to them, "Then what shall I do with the man whom you call the King of the Jews?"
18 And they began to salute him, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
26 And the inscription of the charge against him read, "The King of the Jews." [some heinous crime,huh?]
32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe." Those who were crucified with him also reviled Him [and one of them entered purgatory - I mean, Paradise - that day because he had neither been immersed nor eaten eucharist?].

Luke 23:2 And they began to accuse Him, saying, "We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ a king."
3 And Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" And He answered Him, "You have said so."
37 and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"
38 There was also an inscription over Him, "This is the King of the Jews." [worse than holocausting six millions jews or decimating two NYC Trade Towers with passenger-laden jets, then celebrating it with a mosque built on Ground Zero?]

John 1:49 Nathanael answered Him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"

John 6:15 Perceiving then that they were about to come and take Him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by Himself.

Revelation 17:14 they will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful [not self-appointed non-patriotic infidels, terrorists, nor disturbing-the-peace trouble-causers]."
Revelation 19:16 On His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, King of kings and Lord of lords.

Nowadays, who would be worthy to anoint or lay hands on one for whom the Body of Christ would consider genuinely "ordained?" Aaron of the Levitical priesthood? Melchizedek? The Pope allegedly (but obviously not) in the blood-descendancy line of Saint Peter, who probably never even visited Rome at any time?

Matthew 21:23 And when He entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came up to Him as He was teaching, and said, "By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority?"
24 Jesus answered them, "I also will ask you a question; and if you tell me the answer, then I also will tell you by what authority I do these things.
27 So they answered Jesus, "We do not know." And he said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Mark 11:28 and they said to Him, "By what authority are you doing these things ["Where's your permit?" "Where's your license?" "Where's your earned-degree diploma?"], or who gave you this authority to do them?"
29 Jesus said to them, "I will ask you a question; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
33 So they answered Jesus, "We do not know." And Jesus said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."

I Corinthians 14:40 but all things should be done decently and in order.

II Corinthians 3:1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you?
2 You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on your hearts, to be known and read by all men;

I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Hebrews 7:11 Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron?

Hebrews 9:11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation)
12 he entered once for all into the Holy Place, taking not the blood of goats and calves but His own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.
13 For if the sprinkling of defiled persons with the blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a heifer sanctifies for the purification of the flesh,

In summary, it is possible that some of those within State-certified-and-regulated 501(c)(3) tax-exampt church-corporation "seminaries" can function with some orthodoxy and Biblical legitimacy within the State constrictions binding them, but it is also possible for bonafide True-Church ordinations of "pastors" and "reverends" "clergy" along with "teachers" and "priests" and "bishops" and "deacons" and "prophets" and so on of a non-government type to occur and exist outside the auspices of Government certification and licensure, although involvement and interactions with the State must be in accord with the following:

Matthew 17:24 When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the half-shekel tax went up to Peter and said, "Does not your teacher pay the tax?"
25 He said, "Yes." And when he came home, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do kings of the earth take toll or tribute? From their sons or from others?"

27 However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook, and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel; take that and give it to them for me and for yourself."

Romans 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
